CHUG Annual Conference - 2018 Recap

CHUG 2018 is in the books for another year. Were you in attendance? With the shift from GE Healthcare to Virence, excitement was certainly in the air…

The Centricity Health User Group (CHUG) took its conference on the road to arguably one of the most fun cities in the United States…Nashville, Tennessee. For three days, November 8-10, there was a mix of good food, live entertainment, and plenty of learning opportunities to be had.

The conference was hosted at the Omni Nashville Hotel in downtown Nashville, only walking distance from several of the most well-known attractions that the city has to offer. Whether the conference-goers were looking to experience the Johnny Cash Museum or the County Music Hall of Fame all the way to the famous country bars, there was no lack of options for entertainment.

The conference was located on the 2nd and the 3rd floors of the Omni Nashville Hotel. The vendors were set up on the 2nd floor and we had premium positioning next to the Virence booth close to where people entered the conference area.

We were excited to discuss our product offerings with those in attendance. Some of our best conversations were about our Revenue Cycle Management services and resulted in many opportunities to provide RCM Services for current and new customers. Our Billing Tools bundle was a huge hit and our Visualutions packets where a coveted item at this year’s CHUG which allowed current and potential customers to gather all our collateral.

One of our brightest spots was discussing the new Billing Tools that we developed to help practices perform more effectively and efficiently. Our Billing Tools bundle brings productivity to a new level of ease, our most popular tools were Patient Payment Entry, Conveyance, Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire, and a tie between Mass Editor and Schedule Builder. We enjoyed being able to share opportunities to give our customers time back in their day to work smarter, not harder!

All in all, this conference was extremely successful. Many Centricity users claimed that this was the most exciting CHUG conference in years due to the hype around Virence. We are extremely humbled to be a part of this great experience and we look forward to partnering with more healthcare clinics in the years ahead!
